transmission and a 1996 Isuzu rodeo 4x4 v6 with
an automatic transmission. Can I take the
automatic and put it into the manual

Not very easily. Your taking an OBD 2 computer controlled transmission and trying to put it in a vehicle that is old school Isuzu engine control. Just not compatible.
