How do I get a new car from VA to GA without temp tags?

I'm looking to buy a car on cargurus from a private party in Virginia, but I live in
Georgia. How do I drive it home without tags? I'll have insurance and the title,
but no valid tags.

You can either have the vehicle shipped or do the title and registration in your home State before you go pick up the vehicle. Once you get the title and registration you will get new license plates. You can simply drive the vehicle home on your new plates. Hope that helps! Jim
