Need help to choose an automatic transmission SUV.

I am looking for an SUV from top trusted brands with
automatic transmission and mileage as primary priority. My
budget is 15-16 lakhs. Please suggest. But Lots of reviews say
thay Diesel Automatic has less mileage compared to Petrol
automatic. I am really confused. Please help me.

Maybe the users were not driving the vehicles long distances? Diesel engines are more efficient once warmed up. If you are taking lots of short trips, under 15mins time, a petrol engine is what you want. Long trips, driving all day, on the highways, you want a diesel
