you can sell the car in any state, EVEN Alaska if you wanted to

Yes but if you have a long distance buyer wanting to buy your vehicle, be careful. Don't release the vehicle or the title until you receive payment in full and that payment clears your bank! Inspections and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer as well. Hope that helps! Jim
