Back in 2008 I ordered and took delivery of a Bullitt Mustang and it had 8 miles on it when I picked it up. 2 years later I traded for an Infiniti. They wholesaler that bought it from the dealership tried to sell it at a well known car auction and Autocheck showed it had the engine replaced twice. This car had only 16,000 miles on it and it was carefully driven by only me. The only actual repair was an intermittent fuel injector. The buyer contacted me and we got in touch with the selling dealership and the servicing dealership and got letters from them stating the engine replacements did NOT happen. Both dealerships and I are well acquainted. It took several weeks, but we did get it straightened out.
