Hi, I'm currently looking at buying a 335, either diesel or
petrol (I'm not too bothered about mpg) is there
anything specific I should look for. For the price I'm
paying they vary from 07-12. Any advice appreciated

Buy the lowest mile car you can and have a BMW specialist check it before you buy.
