I will buy a new car and i am between the bmw 118i (2020) or the
Golf 8 r line. I would like to give me your opinion about which car is
the best. Im 20 years old

Best is a matter of opinion. Drive both to decide which one you like better. They are both nice cars.

Both are high maintenance German cars. If you can afford the cost enjoy your new car. If you can't afford the high cost of repairs and maintenance then buy a Toyota.
