my phone number does not show in my listing

Unfortunately, it is our policy that every first interaction between buyer and seller through CarGurus is over the email accounts registered on the site. This is to protect user's personal information as well as allow us to track the interactions between users and maximize our user experience. Because of this, we do not allow phone numbers to be listed on our site. However, once a shopper reaches out through the messaging platform, you will be able to exchange contact information there.

due to this absurd and very stupid policy preventing paid ads from listing a phone number I will never ever use or recommend your service to anyone. whoever thought up this insane useless and deplorable policy should be fired from car gurus immediately.

This greatly decreases the chances of someone reaching out to me, which reduces the chances of me selling my vehicle. This will the last time I use your website to sell. Very disappointed in your services.

This is ridiculous I see all these car dealership’s with their numbers attached too their adds! My Dodge Viper is a very rare special car! I need too be in direct contact with my potential buyers!

I have realized that cargurus does not care about Customer Experience! If you care about Customer Experience, then check out the metrics - About 90% of leads do not get back because of the delay in communication with the seller.
