Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Why can't we do a search based on transmission type anymore? I'm looking for
a car that's pretty hard to find in manual, and I'm willing to cast a wide net. But
I'm not opening and reading hundreds of listings to find it. That is silly,
especially when other car searches gladly do it for me.

Seriously, do you want me to screenshot the LACK of that filter option? Its DEFINITELY not there. So please, keep telling me to use it.

Use the Manual transmission filter. I see it. Did you try searching under another vehicle? Maybe the manual isn't an option if you already picked the vehicle, as you said it was pretty rare and none are available.

I did a search for a Corvette and the manual filter option showed up. A general search by body style (coupe) did not offer that filter. (WTH.) In my specific case, I've been looking for a Buick Regal GS with a 6 speed manual. Admittedly they are rare, but do exist. And I'm willing to cast a nationwide net. Without that filter option I'll have to dig through HUNDREDS of listings to find one with the proper number of pedals. The whole point of cargurus is to find cars right? In this case it doesn't give me the option to find the car I'm looking for. Terrible site design. Please fix this.

Forget it. I just went to autotrader and found 20 of them.
