I applied wax on a new paint job from a week or two ago. What should I do?

I just received a new paint job and applied
meguires cleaner wax without knowing new
car paint needs to cure. Any suggestions of
what I should do to remove wax? I heard
waxing too early can damage paint job

Let the paint cure the way it is for now. In a few weeks wash the car with Dawn dish soap. This should remove the wax that you've applied. If the paint looks ok then apply a coat of wax or hybrid wax/sealer to protect the paint.
