1988 Ford F-150 lariat xlt extended cab 5.0

I have an 88 f150 lariat xlt extended cab 5.0
liter v8. Only has 97k on engine and tranny
but has sat for two years had it running good
until I replaced the spark plugs then it stalled
out on me during the test drive and would
only crank not start. I’ve checked wiring
connections, grounds, changed solenoid,
starter, battery terminals,fuses checked
out,and has all new lines hoses and other
components. I have lights and the engine
cranks but it won’t turn over. I’m lost as to
what would be the issue any advice would
help. I’m over 4K into the truck and don’t
wanna have to put much more in it.
