I have tried multiple times to get the website to show me a certain make and model within 50 miles of my zip code. That SIMPLE little task should be very straightforward for me to enter into the search, and indeed, it is. However, it seems as if the website completely ignores my request and shows me not only cars with the requested radius but also cars not only beyond the requested 50 miles, but even beyond 100 miles. That is annoying. Maybe it happens because there are zero cars matching my need in the 50 mile radius. If so, then guess what I want to see???? I want your website to tell me " there are zero cars in a 50 mile radius matching your search". I am plenty intelligent enough to alter my search to include cars in a larger radius if I choose. And, also, it wastes my time having to wade through listings that don't show a price. If there isn't a price listed, then I don't care in the least to see it. As for "F_O_R" , shut up idiot.
I also see that I'm not the first to have such issues, if you want to attract people to use your service, make it work the way we ask it to.
I see! Most likely it's exactly what you said. There's no vehicles matching your search criteria in your 50 mile radius so the website automatically expands the search area for you. That can be annoying especially if you don't want to travel that far to look at a vehicle! I believe under the filters section of your search you can filter out vehicles without a price and or a photo. Contact customer service at user_support@cargurus.com and express your issues. Don't bother calling the customer service department. Their representatives are horrible on the phone!! I know from experience!! If enough people like you bring these issues to the attention of the powers that be here it will be resolved. Thanks for taking the time to help make our website a better one!! Jim
