Can you find the owners information with the vin number?

VIN number is a code to identify your vehicle. Be it the engine size, place of manufacture and at what sequence in the assembly. There is no owner information attached to it. Exactly what information are you trying to find?

You can find out how many people owned the vehicle if you buy a vehicle history report such as Carfax, VINcheck, etc. But you can't get their names or addresses. That information is restricted. If someone is selling a vehicle that was supposedly owned by a celebrity such as a movie star, politician, etc. the seller would have to provide proof of such a claim. Hope that helps! Jim
