Why would one of your Dealers show a price of $8995.00 and want to charge me more money for paying cash?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I found a car that I can pay cash for.  When I mentioned cash they said the
advertised price was for financing only.  The cash price was $2000.00 more.
I'm extremely disappointing.  This is a misleading practice.

Dealers get kickbacks from the banks when they get you to finance. A Cash deal they make nothing extra. Should they put that in their ad? Maybe.
