11 MB ML350 4MATIC looses power when driving

My 2011 Mercedes  Benz ML 350 4matic loses
power while driving. I have replaced the crank shaft
position sensor and 24 hours later, the same
problem exists.

Based on similar complaints, it was an inexpensive part to replace to see if it would fix the problem. It did not. There are no codes, no check engine light. Simply driving along and without warning, the vehicle looses power, I pull over to the side of the road. I wait 5 minutes, restart the engine and take off, hoping to make it back home. i did, but it shut off twice within 20 miles.

update: we changed the battery in the fob which seems to have corrected the problem, so far.
