Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car died on me out on a drive. 4 hours
wouldnt start i pulled the air filterof and it
ran fine all the way home then died again. I
changed out the timeing chain with a mark
iii chain when i seen how much slack was on
it. Removed my egr cause it was clogged up
and it had burned a hole in its plate so it was
always pumpimg into intake and the guy i
stay with hooked up a booster backwards to
my battery cables and turned it on. I've
replaced some wires and an alternator I've
looked over enough to ask for help because
it Wont start. I think i missed a vacuum hose
but cant find where the hissing sound is
when it turns over. I have 8 days to figure it
out the guy kicked me out after he did the
booster screw up

if it just died on you out on a drive, sounds like a fuel problem. you might have a dirty filter or maybe even a bad fuel pump. if it gets more technical than that as far as debris in your line you might have to get your entire fuel line replaced. I'd definitley try the gas filter first on that ( easiest and cheapest always first).
