I was driving at 60 miles an hour and it just died
and won't start again. Is getting gas. Sounds like
it's out of gas

With nothing to go with I can only guess. If the Check Engine light illuminated the trouble codes will help us diagnose the issue. When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump hum?
