My first question usually is about when and how often the last oil change was done. Would also ask about any suspension/ steering issues but most of the time they really don't offer much history. As you probably hear often request a vehicle history report such as carfax and maintenance records. If you don't get the information you think you should have find another vehicle that you feel comfortable with. Good Luck!

The dealer probably bought the car at auction or on trade in which means they probably know nothing about it. I would ask if it has a clean title. Have a mechanic check it out if you really want to know more about the car.
