Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed my manual transmission
and everything shifts fine now except
when I accelerate to 30mph my
speedometer starts jumping bad. I
took the sensor out and checked it
with my voltage meter and seems to
be working fine. Any ideas what to do
next?

To properly check a speed sensor you need a lab scope so you can see the wave form pattern and for any electronic noise it might produce. So still could have a bad sensor or a problem with the speedometer drive motor.

Thanks a lot. May just buy a new sensor and try it then.
