Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Saab 9-3 has had all new hoses, motor mount, and now the engine light wont go off.  Had the battery, alternator and all that checked.  Any suggestions?  One more thing do these cars have struts or shocks or both?  Thanks.

What codes are stored? Your local auto parts store will read them for free. Post code numbers back on here and we can better help you figure out what is going on with your car.

Hi I have a 2007 9-5 aero I just had the alternator replaced the engine light came on.I took it to advance they ran 2 tests battery was fine alternator was reading bad.could it be throwing a code because it wasn't cleared after replacing the alternator? My battery is fine and I've been driving it for days now.the light came on days or a week after the alternator was replacement. Thanks for any advice.
