I have a Dodge 2011 Ram truck and yesterday while driving it slipped into what I think is 4th gear overdrive because there is a 4 on the dash light indicator cab I get it out of overdrive? How?

First off you need to find out which transmission you have. In 2011 Dodge offered 1) 4 speed, 1) 5 speed and 3) 6 speed automatic transmissions. Does your RAM have a manual shift option(autostick)? Where you can shift it like a manual transmission without the clutch pedal. If in doubt it should still be under warranty. How many miles on it?

Did you check the transmission fluid level? Does it have the autostick option? Did you buy it new? I believe it's got a huge drivetrain warranty on it.
