Check to see if the electric radiator fan is running while you are idling and the ac is on. It should be running. If not investigate as to why its not running. Your ac will not cool at an idle without this fan running. Just had to replace the electric fan on my 2007 dodge ram for same reason.

It could be low on freon, or many things, it is best to have it checked out,if it needs freon or something replaced you need different tools to take it apart , and recharge
