First try holding the power headrest switch in the up position to bring the carrier to the top. Insert the headrest, putting a bit of downward pressure on it and you might feel/hear a click. Once you do, operate the switch to bring the carrier down and the head rest should go with it. If that doesn't work, run the switch all the way up and then all the way down a few times. Sometimes things like the windows and ABS need similar treatment (steering lock to lock a few times, etc.). If that doesn't work, get the headrests back in and reset the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery cable for appx. 15-20 min. Make sure you have your radio code before you reset.
