I didn't know where this wire goes I believe it's a kill switch for the fuel pump

If that's a kill switch for the fuel pump then whoever put it in is a massive idiot. Imagine cruising down the highway at 75MPH and bumping that switch, since it's literally right on top of the center console, and BOOM, engine is dead. No power steering, no power brakes, just drifting amongst the Semi rigs and hoping for the best.
