Maybe an electical issue?

Asked by Tionte Aug 31, 2011 at 06:24 PM about the Dodge Shadow

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My blinker works like it suppose to sometimes, then it will start to blink slowly.
Replaced the Flasher fuse already and it's still doing the same thing. What could be
the problem and how do I fix it?

Check the light bulb sockets for corrosion and replace any that are bad. I have a 1991 shadow and have experienced this problem before. Moisture will get inside the light lenses and cause the light sockets to corrode.

Yeah what he (Scott) said...but too,I'd have a technician/person with a tester check it at either private or personal garage / machine as well as wiring itself...could be a brain box going bad or a short.
