Sounds like your intake door is not opening. If you select it to "RECIRCULATE" just within the cab, do you get any air? How about if you put it on "FRESH"? If these settings are not giving you air, then one of the actuator doors is not opening. Or you have a family of mice in your dash........... Make sure the hose on your motor hasn't fallen off. If that has happened, you will not get air either.

What year model truck? Does it have a cabin air filter? If so have you checked it? Also these trucks are known for blend door issues. Check out you tube if you think it might be a blend door issue. Some good videos on there about replacement.

Ok yours does not have a cabin air filter. Check out heatertreater.com. They have some info on how to repair this issue of low or no air flow. It's a blend door or blend door actuator issue.

I work for dodge and you most likely have a broken recirc door, dash must come out for repair, remove glove box and check the recirc door

Thank you, like I said all the controls work and it switches fine but air flow is VERY weak in all modes. Is this a tough job ?

NO NEED TO PAY BIG PRICES OR HAVE YOUR WHOLE DASH TAKEN OUT. THE RECIRCULATE DOOR BREAKS ON THESE SYSTEMS ALL THE TIME. JUST LIKE THE WHOLE DASH ON THESE TRUCKS. THEY WERE MADE CHEAP WITH GARBAGE FOR PARTS. JUST TAKE OUT YOUR BLOWER MOTOR- REACH IN WITH YOUR HAND AND REMOVE THE OLD BROKEN DOOR AND MOST LIKELY THAT WILL GET YOUR AIR BACK. YOU JUST WONT HAVE THE OPTION TO CHANGE FROM RECIRCULATE TO FRESH AIR. NO BIG DEAL. AT LEAST YOU HAVE AIR FLOW. THEY SELL A REPLACEMENT DOOR/KIT FOR THESE IF YOU WANT YOUR OPTION TO CHANGE FROM RECIRCULATE TO FRESH BACK.

Mike, your solution will work great in a non ice and snow state. If you are stuck on RECIRCULATE, what will happen is when you get wet floor mats, the windows will fog up beyond belief. More dangerous than driving with frost on the windows. If the door you pull out causes you to be stuck on FRESH, you'll be fine. Just thought I would warn people before you find out the hard way next winter.

take the top black plastic cover off of the heater ac unit above the fan resistor, back screws are hard to get to on a van, raise it up enough to see the ac condenser inside, mine was completely covered blocking the air flow. I took a small brass wire brush and shop vac to clean out the crap and walah, air flow. hope this helps.

I have a 2001 ram that was putting out low air in all speeds. I found that the actuator door was not working ,found a site that sells the part to fix this. Heater treater sells the kit part with instructions cheap. there is a video on YouTube, look up Matt Payne.
