These engines prefer a synthetic 5w-30 oil. I would go with either a Fram Tough Gard (TG2951...i believe), or higher quality oil filter of your choice. For future reference, and you'll need it, if you have the automatic transmission NEVER EVER let anyone put DEX/MERC in your transmission during a flush. ALWAYS ALWAYS use Mobil ATF 3309 or equivalent. Toyota Brand fluid has an equivalent that's cheaper and easier to potentially find. After some issues myself, I've learned ;)

Depending on how much you care for your car and what your willing to spend. I use either Mobil 1 or Royal Purple Full synthetic with a Wix or Mobil 1 oil filter. That's as top notch as you can get and now Mobil 1 is offering a new Full Synthetic that is good for 15,000 miles.

K&N or Mobil 1, I wouldn't put a fram on my lawn mower , had 2 collapse on our high performance engines!
