Oil Pressure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After my truck warms up my oil pressure gage goes
from 0 when I stop to 40 when I take off. While
driving it floats between 20 to right below 40. When
I did my last oil change, I used castrol edge high
mileage full synthetic and I usually use the gtx high
mileage synthetic blend. I'm wanting to know if it's
because I changed the type of oil I use if it's getting
to thin when the motor gets warm and that's why
I'm showing a lower pressure than a normal
pressure of 40. My truck is a 1996 V8 Vortex engine
2WD.
