ignition system failure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 81 G20 3/4 ton that I just swapped engines in. The other day while
taking to on a test run, some exposed wires at the starter grounded out, creating
a large spark and killing the engine. Now the entire ignition system seems to be
out. I repaired the wire to the starter (didn't change the fusible link though) but
still nothing. Any suggestions?
