Nateral Gas Civic

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Im thinking about getting a natural gas Honda Civic. If anyone owns one or knows alittle bit about it, want to share what you know. Also is it worth it, the 'home pump' is somewhere around $3,000-$4,000, but then Natural gas is alot cheaper than gas.

Or would i just be better off geting the Honda Civic Hybrid?

I would get the Hybrid, if either. Natural gas/propane make a lot less power than gasoline. If you've ever driven a propane forklift, you will know the feeling. It's harder to get up to speed, and harder to go up hills. $3-4k for the natural gas pump will buy a lot of gasoline, and you won't have a useless pump down the road when you sell or trade the car.

im not to consern about the losing power aspect of it, but yeah that 3-4k pump will be what runes it. Thanks!
