cooling fans won't work, what's wrong!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i replaced my thermostat,cooling fan switch and changed my valve cover gasket and still my cooling fans will not come on, plus my temp gauge continues to rise to the {Hot-level}!

why won't my fans kick in, do i need to replace my fans too?

Your valve cover really dosent have anything to do with your problem, but it sounds like you need a coolant temp sensor.

Check your fans by running power t them straight from battery,if they run then check the control relays.If the temp gauge moves in dash sensor is ok.

check them with a power meter to check if there is current to them
