Is anyone interested in performance?

Question type: Car Customization

I have been wanting to get some new sway bars from IPD for a while.  They are too expensive for me to justify
unless the old ones were to break (very unlikely).  I might just have to go with chassis braces for now.  Is anyone
else interested in 240 performance?

I highly recommend the IPD bars. I found a good cheap set on Ebay. I have a 1992 5speed 245 and I'm running 25mm front and 23 mm rear bars with urethane bushings on the front. I also have the 242GT upper strut bars. As a straght-liner a 240 would need a lot of persuasion and money to make a serious competitor, but as an autocrosser they are great fun and surprise a lot of people. I think it's well worth puttin money into the suspesion and stiffening the chassis

The cheapest upgrade would be to find a Volvo 240 turbo car and grab the sways off of that. I believe them to be 23mm for front and 21mm for the rear(I think.) Stock is 21mm and 19mm.
