2001 9-5 starting issue

My son's 2001 9-5 will not start. it turns over fine, just nothing happening when it turns. your thoughts please. Gio

Could be a couple of thing,s,fuel,spark,or the anti theft system,check for spark,then fuel.

as in the car won't go into gear? in which case it could be the heads.
