2005 Pontiac Montana SV6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I saw a question on here about a driver window that won't go down and it makes a clicking
noise.  I am having the same problem with mine but when it is going up.  The answer given
to the question was that the regulator needs replaced.  I already did that and bought a
new motor.  Any suggestions on what else could be causing my problem?

Had the exact same problem on my wife's 2005 montana sv6. On the up only like you have. Especially when almost all the way up to close the window good and tight. The problem I had was the gear the meshes with the motor gear had some teeth missing right at the end. Bought the assembly from a local wrecker changed and works great. Hope throat helps.
