Why does my truck shut off at random and not restart?

Question type: General

my truck will turn over and run, but turns off at random
while driving. However after shut off truck will still crank
over but not start. I've tried replacing crank position
sensor.

There are systems on cars that when defective are susceptible to heat and will just stop working. Could be bad coils. Or it could be leaking injectors flooding a hot engine, and in time the excess fuel dissipates and the cooled engine starts again.
