Old or low fluid. Consider changing inner trans filter. Do not flush fluid. Drop and refill only. Do this 2 or 3 times in 12K miles. I have restored many shifting issues for my customers with this procedure. Cold not shifting correctly is a sign. Hard kicking into gear symptoms.
