f150 older model clutch will not engage
My son's truck is having clutch issues. We've replaced a lot of stuff. Clutch, master, slave, bushing, safety switch, hoses, transmission.....I'm frustrated and I know my mechanic is frustrated. Clutch goes to the floor and will not engage. The lines have been replaced and bled numerous times. I keep thinking it's got to be something easy he is missing....please help. We've got too much in this vehicle to start over.
Was the clutch fork installed properly?
Can you elaborate on the "clutch fork" being installed properly? What would I need to ask my mechanic? When the clutch is pushed to the floor, it is tight and full of pressure, upon release, 1/2 way upon returning to the original position, it seems as if it "catches".
