Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A friend has given me his 1998 F150 4.2 V6  Ford Pickup and said the oil pressure guage
now reads 0... Whats the next step... help

You either have to decide if it's the oil pump or the oil pressure sending unit.

Unplug the wire to the oil sending unit and ground it out....Turn your ignition key on...The gauge should move....IF it does then replace the oil sending unit.
