can a 2008 sport trac 4x4 automatic be flat towed

I am looking to purchase a 2008 ford sport trac and want to flat  tow it behind my RV, is that OK and what needs to be done to make it towable?  Thanks, Tom

if the transfer case and engine are in neutral

I would talk to an RV dealer and make sure the it can be done. Most sport tracs are switch activated 4wd, not manual shift.

No. Max speed 35mph max distance 50 miles. But they sell a kit, the dealer can install to enable you to flat-tow. From owners manual http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/08p27og1e.pdf
