how do I change the left front turn signal bulb?

Hi Contaurus, I need to know what year your car because some model years are differet. This is how for the 95-97 Contour. Inside the hood on both sides there is a bolt about the size of a penny. Removing those bolts will allow you to remove the entire turn signal case. Once you have popped it out you will have access to the bulb in the back of the case. Once you replace the bulb just follow all these steps in reverse. Good luck!
