Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought this vechile from a used dealership little over
a week ago. It seems to drive fine but after the first
few days I noticed when I reversed and the break to
switch to drive it felt like it kinda slipped? But then
later on I stopped at a gas station down the street,
busy area. When I finally pulled up to park the petal
was soooo hard to push down and then again felt
delayed and kinda that not catching feeling. A
message on the dash just read BREAK in red and then
quickly a messaged appeared said something about
electronic breaking system  ... maybe service at thr
beginning. I dont know it qas so fast. When I shut the
car off and got back in things seemed to be fine. But it
does keep randomly doing it and no clue why! HELP!!!!
