Why didn't my car start this morning?

I have a Toyota premier and I find in the morning when I start it up it jerks for
about 5 mins and this morning it wouldn't start after 8 attempts of trying it
did.why?

Can't tell you why but to start need to know if there is spark coming out of the coil, and if there is fuel pressure. May need someone to look at it.

I don't think that would solve your problem. If the spark plugs need to be changed, then it needs a tune-up and a good going over. (serviced) I'd start by having the fuel pressure checked. Your symptoms fit. May have a bad fuel pump.
