Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have camry 2002 v6 automatic. I got a problem
2days before. When i press accelerator so it was
missing.  Then i went to mechanic and i changed
all engibe plugs.
But yesterday when i start the engine. And i press
the accelerator  so it has no pick up. It takes time
to get motion. Like engine has no power.  Then i
pressed the accelerator to end. And it jumps.. but
still it feels the engine has no power. No pick up..
and when it reaches to average speed  for 5th gear.
It foes not change to 5th. It goes in 4th gear. Even
my speed hits to 100km/h. Can u tell me what
problem it has ?

Any warning lights on or flashing when the engine is running? You might have a transmission issue. Check the tranny fluid for proper level....and...smell. does the TF smell and looked burnt?

There is only engine warning light. But it was for last 10 months. Not from now. And gear oil level is perfect. But i cant feel if it it is burnt or no.

Nd some one suggest to clean computer.. and check the wires.. Bcoz if i slowly by slowly get the in car in motion so its changing correctly. But if i press the accelerator once hardly then it does not change gear after 3rd or 4th gear

I think there may be a connection between the Check Engine Light ON and the issue you describe. See if there is an Auto Parts Store near you that will read the codes stored. It woukd be nice to know why that light is on.

But sir the light was appeared with it was imported to uae.. but the problem came last week.

Understood...but...our diagnostic procedure is to start correcting and or repairing what is obviously broke. The computer on this vehicle is telling us something is wrong with its imputs and or outputs. Might be related to root cause of your concern. If you do not have access to a code reader...then try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 5 min. And see if any warning lights return after a road test..

I would fix the first item first. The air fuel sensor can cause the car to run poorly and also cause spurious codes. I just went through this with my Lexus RX300.

That EGR code can also have a connection with this driveability issue you describe. Try this. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 5 min. Reconnect and start the engine and let it idle in DRIVE with your foot on the brakes and the AC on for 5 min. Go for a drive. If the Check Engine Light comes back on....we need to know what codes have returned.
