Citreon C3 makes funny noise when driving

It's like a dull like tapping noise which stops when i
accelerate. I thought it might be the tappets but
i've had that problem once before and i know what
it sounds like. The noise now is not as fast and not
as loud.

My car is Citreon C3 2004. I've also noticed the indicaters have started flashing quickly too on occasions. So i know something is up? What could it be?
