How long is a 10blot 2wd chevy axle

I want to change my 95 chevy 2wd from 5 lug to 6
lug. Can I take the axles out of a 4wd 10 bolt
rearend and put them in a 2wd 10 bolt rear end?

I'm not sure. Some online chevy forum may have the specs on the rear axle length. Although you can buy wheel adapters for the Chevy to go from 5 to 6 lug wheels.

The axle length is not the only factor. The spline count is another factor. I am sure there are other factors but those are two. I would swap the entire axle assembly rather than the axles.
