I was wondering what is wrong if your car dies with a good battery and alternator and you drive thru some water not a lot and volt light comes on and you try jumping it and it won't start back up

You probably splashed some water on the ignition system causing temporary loss of spark, and stalling. It should restart when things dry out. Also, the alternator light might come on from that same splash of water. I just hope it wasn't salt water. Be patient and do not replace the battery or alternator. A warm engine usually dries out fast.
