fuel flapper valve

Asked by GuruBXFYV Dec 24, 2018 at 01:54 PM about the Nissan Xterra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I installed a new fuel pump and sending unit, after pump was removed from
tank ,the tank was turned upside down to aid in fuel removal from tank, now
fuel goes in very slow or gas pump clicks off, I know there is a shutter valve in
tank at fuel entry point, does that shutter valve have something to do with tank
being turned upside down

1 Answer

I think you have a venting problem with the EVAP system. Did you damage or crimp the vent line?
