allard vin number

Got a 51 Allard K2 and want to sell it.  Motor Vehicle says I have to have a vin
number.  I can't find it and don't know where to look for it.  It was on the road in
1972 and I still have the plate on it but NY Motor Vehicle says they don't keep
info that long.  Does anybody have a clue where the vin number is????

I would check with the Allard club. Chances are it has a chassis number but not a VIN. There is no ID plate on the firewall or inner fender? How about posting a photo?

In the upper right of this photo is the ID plate of a K3.
