car not wanting to move very easy

when i tried to drive the car it dies when trying to take off in 1st or reverse if i rev it up to 5000rpms it barely makes it to10 mph so i dont know whats going on

the breaks where locked up got them lossend and it still did the same thing but the trans has 187k never has been rebuilt but if it is toast, i have a second trans

on craigs list they sell sr20 trannys for around $250-$300 with around 50k-60k on them. Seems cheaper than a rebuild to me.

does the car sound deeper than it did before? could just be a coilpack..

check all your injectors and make sure they are plugged in, and that your maf sensor is working, then go from there.
