compare mazda 3 without turbo to chevy cruze with turbo

Asked by Guru98ZLBD May 02, 2022 at 12:39 AM about the Mazda MAZDA3

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I drive a 2018 chevy cruze with a 1.4L turbo engine which I use to commute.
Love the handling and power, but has a rough ride. Looking to replace it
with mazda 3 SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 DOHC 4-cylinder with VVT which is
supposedly smoother and more comfortable ride. Will I feel like I'm am
losing out on the power of a turbo, or does the bigger and newer engine of
the Mazda overshadow this?
